Enagic is a global health equipment manufacturer based in Okinawa, Japan, specializing in high-quality water ionization systems. Founded in 1974, with over 45 years of history, it has grown to become one of the world's leading manufacturers of alkaline ionizers.
Enagic was founded by Hironari Oshiro in 1974 in Okinawa, Japan. Initially, the company focused on providing industrial-grade water processing equipment for Japanese hospitals and clinics.
In 1988, Enagic began developing home water ionizers, aiming to bring medical-grade water technology into ordinary households.
In 2003, Enagic started its international expansion, first entering the North American market, then expanding to Asia, Europe, and other regions. Today, Enagic has 25 offices worldwide, with products sold in over 80 countries.

"Kangen" is a Japanese term meaning "Return to Origin". Kangen Water refers to alkaline electrolyzed water produced by Enagic's machines, possessing unique physical and chemical properties.
Enagic founder Hironari Oshiro was inspired by the properties of drinking water in Japanese longevity villages while researching the impact of water quality on health, leading to the development of technology capable of producing water with similar characteristics.
